Product-link processing and platform boundary.

Buyer-provided product links, titles, model numbers, pasted descriptions, and similar references may be processed to extract factual product attributes and create structured buyer demand. Links are reference material only and do not mean Peddlo copies, endorses, sells, stocks, supplies, or guarantees a third-party listing or product.

Final purchase, payment, fulfilment, refunds, returns, warranty, and after-sales remain between buyer and chosen seller after offer selection.

Confirmed shopping request

Buyers must confirm extracted product details before a shopping request is finalised or attached to a buyer group.

Limited source handling

Peddlo does not publicly republish raw copied third-party listing descriptions, images, or seller listings as Peddlo product pages.

Seller disclosures

Seller origin, fulfilment capability, delivery timing, landed-cost position, warranty, returns, stock, verification, and expiry may be shown where relevant.

Boundary

Peddlo is not a seller, buyer, merchant of record, escrow, payment provider, fulfilment provider, delivery provider, customs broker, insurer, warranty provider, refund provider, or after-sales dispute handler.

Controller and contact

For public website and account purposes, Peddlo determines how platform information is used. Use the Contact page for privacy questions, notices, or rights requests.

Information we collect

Peddlo may collect account data, buyer registration data, seller registration data, regional and category declarations, contact forms, security logs, and audit records.

  2. Buyer and seller dataBuyer product interest, selected region, timing, quantity, budget band, seller supported regions, product categories, readiness, verification, and submitted notes.
  3. Contact and support dataMessages, topic choices, contact details, and support context submitted through public forms.
  4. Security and audit dataIP-derived request data, timestamps, access events, security events, rate-limit records, masking-stage evidence, and operational audit records.
  5. Phone number and verification dataWhere buyers voluntarily provide a phone number for account verification, Peddlo collects and stores that phone number and verification status solely for platform security and demand signal integrity purposes. Phone numbers are not shared with sellers at any stage. One-time verification codes are temporary and deleted immediately after use or expiry. Peddlo does not collect, store, or process government-issued identity documents at this stage. Where full identity verification is required at a later handshake stage, Peddlo may use a regulated third-party KYC provider. In that case the third-party provider processes identity documents under their own GDPR-compliant data processing terms and Peddlo receives only a pass or fail signal, not the underlying documents.

Purposes and legal bases

Peddlo uses information to operate accounts, organise regional buyer groups, review seller participation, respond to enquiries, prevent misuse, secure the platform, and meet legal obligations.

  1. Contract and requested servicesAccount, registration, dashboard, and access information may be used to provide requested platform services.
  2. Legitimate interestsSecurity, fraud prevention, audit trails, platform integrity, support, and service improvement may rely on legitimate interests where applicable.
  3. Consent and legal obligationsSome preferences, analytics if introduced, or legally required processing may rely on consent or legal obligation depending on context and region.
  4. Phone number lawful basisPhone numbers collected for verification are processed under the lawful basis of legitimate interests in maintaining platform integrity and protecting buyers and sellers from fraudulent demand. Buyers may request deletion of their phone number by contacting Peddlo via /contact.

Seller Standard, demand confidence, and notification data

Peddlo may process seller application information, seller declarations, Seller Standard status, buyer feedback, complaint and performance signals, Cluster Confidence signals, demand momentum state, notification event records, offer window records, audit logs, email notification records, and internal admin notes to operate seller participation standards, demand momentum infrastructure, and governed demand.

  1. Demand momentum statePeddlo records demand momentum state (for example, interest gathering, demand forming, offers available) to display buyer-facing and seller-facing status labels. These records are internal governance signals, not buyer identity data.
  2. Notification eventsPeddlo may record notification events triggered by demand lifecycle milestones (such as threshold reached, offer window opened, or offers available) and may send or queue emails based on these events. Duplicate events are suppressed.
  3. Buyer interest signalsProduct and category preference signals from buyer demand participation are processed to operate the platform and improve demand matching.
  4. Aggregated signalsSellers may see aggregated or non-identifying demand confidence information; buyer identity masking remains in force.
  5. Internal notesInternal owner/admin notes are used for platform governance and are not public seller marketing content.
  6. Email noticesPeddlo may notify buyers and sellers at key demand lifecycle stages, including offer window opening, offer availability, and checkout readiness. Notifications may be batched, queued, or skipped where technically constrained.

Processors and transfers

Peddlo may use service providers for hosting, storage, email, security, support, analytics if configured, and professional services.

Information is retained only as long as needed for platform operation, security, audit, legal, accounting, dispute-prevention, and legitimate business purposes.
