Platform and Access Fee Policy

Peddlo seller fees are platform access and governance fees only. They are separate from buyer product payments and do not make Peddlo merchant of record, escrow, fulfilment provider, refund provider, or warranty provider.

Seller fee schedule

The seller fee lifecycle includes verification, qualifying cluster join, and selected-offer access controls before final handshake.

  1. Mandatory verificationA GBP 24.99 seller verification fee is required before formal offers unless Peddlo Operations records a Peddlo waiver with an audit reason.
  2. Qualifying cluster join feeA GBP 10 join fee applies where a cluster has 3+ buyers or GBP 500+ estimated value, and paid join fees credit against the selected offer fee for that seller and cluster.
  3. Selected offer fee before handshakeThe selected seller fee must be paid or Peddlo-waived before final handshake, buyer routing, or access unlock. The final-handshake access fee is for access to an organised buyer-interest opportunity, not guaranteed completed sales. Buyer count, buyer interest, estimated value, or handshake eligibility does not guarantee buyer conversion, buyer payment, responsiveness, or seller revenue. The selected-offer fee basis snapshot calculates the platform fee at selection/payment and is not a guarantee of post-handshake purchase volume. Contextual Stripe Checkout may be used, but webhook confirmation or Peddlo Operations confirmation is required before a fee is treated as paid.

Seller Standard payment boundary

Peddlo Seller Standard does not change Peddlo's payment/refund boundary and does not create buyer refund rights against Peddlo for product purchases.

  1. Separate feesSeller access fees and platform fees remain separate from buyer-seller product payments.
  2. No buyer product refund rolePeddlo does not refund buyers for seller product issues unless a future separate written protected-payment product is formally introduced.
  3. No automatic seller refundSeller Standard changes do not automatically entitle a seller to refund of any fee unless the written fee policy says so.

Refund and default boundary

Peddlo fees relate to platform access and services, not the underlying product sale.

  1. Non-refundable ruleSeller fees are non-refundable except where Peddlo fails to provide the paid platform access or service. Buyer non-payment, buyer withdrawal, buyer delay, buyer silence, buyer refusal to proceed, partial buyer conversion, seller failure to convert, seller term changes, or seller inability to supply after access unlock does not create an automatic refund or partial refund right where Peddlo made the paid final-handshake opportunity available.
  2. Seller defaultA selected seller cannot refuse the required platform/access fee or say they cannot supply while retaining selected/preferred status; Peddlo may withdraw selection, default the seller, move to another seller, reopen seller offers, or restrict access.
  3. Separate from product saleFinal product purchase, payment, delivery, refunds, returns, warranty, customs matters, and after-sales remain directly between buyer and seller. Stripe seller-fee payment does not make Peddlo merchant of record for buyer product purchases.
